September 1 Meeting - IF THEY ONLY KNEW! A Field Guide to Maintaining a Successful Working Relationship with Your Installer

September 1, 2016, 9:30am - September 1, 2016, 12:00pm

United Supply Company 10701 Texland Blvd, Charlotte, NC

We all know that the ultimate goal is a satisfied customer. The process to make that happen requires having the right people on your team, bringing them into the project at the right time, and making sure that each person has what they need in order to put it all together. When that process doesn't happen, the result is not only a potentially unhappy customer but also a "disconnect" between the members of the team. James will show us the importance of and the role of the professional installer. James Holloway is a full-time business owner, part-time blogger and professional multi-tasker; James has been active in the window coverings industry since 2001. In 2009 James embraced the call of the entrepreneur and started SOUTH EAST INSTALLATION SOLUTIONS, one of the few "installation-only" services in the Greenville, SC area. His client base consists of designers, home stagers, decorators, workrooms, shutter manufacturers, and private homeowners. In 2011, he tapped into the benefits of social media and created a forum on Facebook that allows designers, installers and others in the window treatment industry to network and share information. Since its creation, the forum - known as the Window Treatment Installers Group - has grown to over 1,000 members. In 2013, James began writing periodic articles for TraVerseBlog.com, a blog that focuses on businesses in general and the window treatment industry in particular. He also has had articles published in the Drapery and Design Professionals magazine. In 2014, James was recruited by the Custom Home Furnishings Academy to teach their Professional Installation curriculum.
